Loline Flash Fiction Prize is Back!

Our writing contest is back, and we’re more excited than ever! Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just starting, the Loline Flash Fiction Prize invites you to write your most captivating stories.

You must start your story with:

“Today was the day I finally opened the letter I had written to myself ten years ago.”

There are no genre or setting restrictions, but all stories must begin with the sentence provided.

Rules

• AI-generated content will be automatically disqualified.
• Contestants can only make one submission at a time.
• Submissions must be at least 500 words long and no more than 2000 words long.
• All submissions must start with the sentence provided in the prompt.
• Your score will be based on an average of judges' scores and engagement rate. 70% of your score will be based on an average of judges' scores and engagement rate will contribute 30% to your overall score.
• The submission deadline will be announced when enough participants join the contest.

Prizes

• First Place: ETB 2000 will be awarded to one contestant.
• Second Place: ETB 1000 will be awarded to two contestants.
